I’ve written some tips for social media over the last couple of years. Mostly they are things NOT to do with your social media marketing. Some are reminders on how I run my accounts.
I quickly became addicted to twitter when I found it. Such a quick reaction and feedback from people. While twitter has changed a lot over the years it’s still somewhere that I go back to just about daily. When I do back to it I have multiple posts in that day. In fact there are a few blog post ideas that I could add to this list about how twitter has changed. Some good, some sad changes. It was twitter that changed, it was the users.
Facebook was one that I didn’t go to right away. I was already so addicted to twitter that I didn’t want to add something else. I heard that once people got on there they were sucked in. How in the world could I fit something else in? No worries, I’ve figured it out over the years. However, I’ve also spent a ton of wasted time between the two.
Google+ is a different breed. While I’m not there as much as I should be it does serve a really good purpose. Right now I think it’s the best place for groups. I love getting the email update to the couple of groups I’m in. Makes it easy for me to click the link to comment or just delete and ignore it. Either way I know I’m not missing anything. I miss a lot on the facebook groups and things get buried quickly.
Since I’ve been addicted to social media for years I’ve seen quite a bit. That’s led to the following three posts:

Facebooking your Tweets
