I’m working through getting out of my head. So easy right?
I was working with my coach on a big project that’s coming up and as we talked and I realized I had not done what I thought I’d done she asked me a question that stopped my brain. “Why don’t you want to be successful, Val?”
I put my head in my hands and said I don’t know.
As I was going through what I thought I’d done for a promotion versus the actual stats we could pull up of what I’d done, there was a complete misconnect in my brain. In my head I’d done a lot more. In reality, I’d done very little. WTH?
It’s a self-sabotage that I’ve been working on breaking. Yes, every human has things to work on and this is a big one for me. I’m much better than I used to be. Still a giant room for improvement which is why I have a coach and will surely always have a coach lol I need help seeing things in myself that I block.
That was just one of my examples for how today was anxiety ridden. I’m glad I think I figured it out and I’m thankful I have a coach to help me work through things when I can’t see them.
Are you blocking yourself from achieving a dream or goal? I’d love to chat and help you create a plan to make it happen. I’ll happily take a big leap with you. There are a few spots left in my Bold Life Coaching and we can get started right away.
If you are in business and want to meet some of these amazing women in my life, you won’t regret joining us at Beach Camp in May. It’s women only, the beach, a ton of time to make real friends, and learning in a no pressure environment. It’s amazeballs!

I can bust MYSELF in the same way. There are ways I’ve played small, held back and given less than by best to some project promotions. Just in case you ever thing you’re the only one – you’re NOT LOL!

After Beach House it’s easier for me to realize that we are all going through the same schtuff no matter how big or small our businesses are lol
Thanks for commenting Kelly 🙂
